I don't have a recipe to post yet, today (plenty will follow!)

I just want to say I've missed these boards SO MUCH! I needed all of you gals when I hosted memorial day and July 4th celebrations. My recipes weren't up to par and I could've used some tips here.

Anyway, I was so excited when I saw the notice here that the boards would be back today! :) Is everyone else happy to be back!?

It is nice to be back and hear from everyone. Just wondering if anyone else had trouble trying to re-register their old name. Mine formerly was gritsgirl and I couldn't use it.

Hi everyone! Its nice to see the SLBB up again! Wouldn't it be perfect if there was a way to re-coup all those wonderful recipes from before. Oh well, we'll just start over fresh and new!

I can already see trouble ahead (at my house) with my not getting much else done from reading and posting recipes, LOL! My family reaps the rewards with all of the meals though! :D

I'm so glad the Boards are back; I've missed reading them so much! I'm really glad, since Fall is just around the corner, and there are always wonderful recipes and decorating advice for the Fall.

What did you think of the question, "who referred you?" are they trying to keep out some former posters? Hu :confused: mnnnnnn.

I was away quite a bit last year. . . then had a baby and was busy with him and was so surprised when I tried to log on to the boards to find them closed! I'm so excited they're back! :)

Hi Folks!

I'm new to these boards. I don't know if there's a procedure for introducing yourself, but here I am! I never even knew about these boards until a friend was complaining that they were down. So when she told me they were back up, I thought I'd join.
Sounds like you're all happy to be back together again. How do you recognize each other if you all had to change your names? :confused:
Seems so sad that you lost all the archived recipes and stuff. Do you think there's a chance they might reappear? (Wishful thinking, LOL)

Looking forward to the SL experience.... :)

I swear I went through a period of mourning when the board closed down to the point my DH asked "is everything all right?"

I do not have a recipe post yet either I just saw this post & wanted to jump on.

I missed you guys so much. :)

This is too exciting and I can tell you one thing.............besides not having all the good recipes, this is much cheaper than eBay!!!! I have become addicted to that since this board went down...........I got my old name back and I do recognize a few old ones.........This is great!!

I thought someone from the "old" board was just NOW discovering that they were back up! :D And, once again, these old threads dug up by spammers make me wonder where all those posters are. I mean, here's a bunch of people so excited that the boards are back, etc., and bama-mom is the only one who's still here.

Some of the old people are here, I think. I was one of them. Old name was Anotherlife.

I just come here now to get ideas and now and then ask a question. Everyone is always so helpful when a question is asked and the creativity of the posters is great.

As much as I would like to become really involved with the boards, my work pulls me away...who invented work anyway...I say shoot the hooligan!

I'm just happy you all are here.
