Well, we did it! My Son's water conservation contest is in full swing! Our local paper came out today with a story and picture of my son about what he is doing. If you read the thread here about water conservation, you probably read my post about this subject. My son organized a contest (with a little of my help,shhh) and got local merchants to donate prizes. We asked that households submit copies of two water bills from October to December. The bills with the biggest difference in gallons used will be our winner!! We are so excited about this contest!
Hopefully, we can make a difference. Our community is in bad shape right now. There are lots of problems that are a result of the drought. Many of the articles in our local paper are about the drought.
