I wanted to share in case anyone needs a few last minute items.
I found tablecloths at Big Lots (60 x 120) for 3.50 They had white, gold, red, and green. Cheaper than renting. Cheaper than paper even. I bought about ten of them because I can use them for when I do buffets and do the different tiers and then need to have 'fluff' to hide the boxes or other items I'm using for the height.
I got gift bags (and not the ugly or cheesy type) for 2.00 or less. They had boxes for 4.00 or less. The heavy ones that you just wrap a ribbon around.
I bought a stack of 50 napkins in white with little trees, presents, and horns embroidered in the corner for 25 cents each.
I left and my bill was only fifty dollars and I had cleaned up on some items that I never thought I would find in Big Lots!
I have to say it pays to have a party later in the season. Sales seem to pop up in your favor!
