Just took the dogs out & it's COLD----BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hot coffee here I come.

Just glad there's NO moisture because I have to drive an hour today to bring hubby for (I HOPE & PRAY) his LAST checkup with the neurosurgeon. Hopefully he will be officially released to go to work Monday. Unless hubby talks him into letting him stay home longer.

Supposed to be 30 degrees tomorrow morning.

It was 13 degrees up here this morning with snow on the ground!!! Now that is COLD!!! Think the wind chill is in the single digits. I plan to stay inside and warm today!

I believe we got down to 10 degrees last night here n the Texas panhandle. I am originally from B'ham (and very homesick) but hearing it is so cold there too makes me feel just a little bit better. Oh but I do so miss the trees.

It is pretty here, but a very different pretty. Our acreage is flat and treeless....but you can see for miles. Sunsets are spectacular and incoming storms can be quite amazing as well. I am a Birmingham suburbs gal, and it has taken me some time to get used to ranches and livestock etc, but I certainly don't miss the traffic.;)

The low here was 23 this morning. Going to be 17 in the morning. Our heat was out today at work - I wore my coat and gloves all day. Even basketball players were cold and they were running up and down the indoor court. If they don't fix the heat, I'm not going to work tomorrow!!! So there.;)

I don't like being cold either, but the best thing about this weather lasting a few days is that it may kill some of the mosquitos and fleas that are outside. Think positive, spring is just around the corner.:)

It is a toasty 11° here at the moment. The forecast is for a slow warming trend. By the beginning of next week it will be around 50°.

I have a fire in the woodstove going to try to help take some stress off the furnace.

It was really cold last night but today up to 43 and warmer by the weekend. Flowers are coming up and there is ice in the bird baths. We need some cold to kill the bugs but I am glad spring will be here soon.
