I am hosting a graduation party for my high schooler. We have Ben and Jerry's coming with an ice cream cart for a couple of hours and will be serving
cupcakes and cookies with lemonade and ice tea. Does anyone have any ideas for decorations besides the typical school color theme.

Also I have a cupcake stand for some of the cupcakes and an ice cream cone cookie cut out, but other than that I am stumped. I need to have some
spot with pictures etc. I know that.

Thanks for any input, I know there are lots of creative people out there.

flying, welcome to the SLBB.

Are you having this party before the graduation ceremony or the night of it? I would suggest if afterwards, that you plan to have a few trays of sandwiches made up. It's been years since I had a grad of HS, but when I did, we were moving across several states the very next morning! Fortunately, we had family coming to help with the preparations in a party room and not in our home. I bought huge containers of chicken salads, etc. that we used to make finger sandwiches. We had many large bags of chips, large cans of Spanish peanuts, and canned drinks. Nothing fancy, but we had a great crowd including other grads and their families. Seems cookies were a hit, too. I found trays/lap trays at W-M the color of blue for their hs.

Good Luck! Don't forget to allow yourself to relax about it. I never regretted letting deli food and Sam's Club provide a fun time!!! And then we were on our way the NEXT MORNING!!!!
