Recently I read about Grocery Game - a website that provides the best deals at your local grocery stores. You subscribe and it is supposed to do all of the work comparing waht's on sale to what coupons are available. The testimonials show that people save hundreds of dollars. I think I do a pretty good job at grocery shopping, but with today's inflation at the store I wonder if this service would be worth the money. Has anyone tried it?

I did try it. It worked great for a friend but not so great for me. It shows you items in your ads that you can stock up on or get for free or almost free thru coupons & sales. I usually shop at HEB or Walmart -- no doubles or triples. Randalls & Kroger do doubles & triples & have good sales but their non-sale prices are much higher for total regular weekly shopping.
I didn't have the patience to grocery store-hop.
If I was a full-time shopper at a store that doubles/triples than that would have probably worked out much better.
Also, I tend to buy lots of whole grain, all-natural, organic etc and a few years ago when I tried it, there weren't any coupons for the items I usually bought & would have wanted to stock up on.
They do or did have a free trial period & the monthly rate wasn't very high back then...maybe $20 for 3 months & you get to pick 2 or 3 stores in your area. So I think it would be worth trying. But be careful, b/c at that time it did renew automatically & I kept thinking of trying again & again but never did!

I grocery game! I like it because it takes all the work out of using coupons. You do have to have some organizational skills to be able to pull it off, but I have saved hundreds of dollars. I had tried it before and thought I could do it on my own but I was wrong. There is a four week trial for $1 that you can sign up for to see if you like it. If you decide to sign up, I would love for anyone to use me as a referral (I get credit towards my subscription).
