Echodog - climb on in! I love your list too! I adore ANYTHING from Charlie Brown, and I think Rosemary Clooney had one of the best voices ever. 'Oh Come Emanuel' is hauntingly beautiful!
We're heading to Naples, FL in January - are you moving there? Niiiice place!

I'LL ADMIT IT - this was NOT a fair question. How to pick FAVORITE Christmas songs? It's just not possible to narrow it down to less than 12! :D
Bing Crosby singing "White Christmas" - ahhhh, now we know what time of year it is. (DD and I watched "White Christmas" on DVD last Sunday, I'm ready now!)
BTW, luvmyhunny...you dance divinely, my dear. :D

Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses (I know, I know, but I just really like it!)

Holly Jolly Christmas - Burl Ives

Haven't started listening to Christmas tunes yet. Maybe tomorrow if I do some decorating.

I can almost guarantee that Vince Gill and Vanessa Willams be on the list ... maybe Aaron Neville too ... or Kathy Mattea, The Roches, James Taylor ... :p

I'll get back with ya.

I hadn't responded to this yet because it would be impossible for me to name just three. I love Christmas music. One of our local radio stations has been playing Christmas music since Nov. 1 if you can believe that.

Lots of people have named quite a few of my favorites. I love the old classic Christmas movies also.

Charlie Brown Christmas just does it for me. It gets me in the right mood about Christmas & makes me remember what Christmas is all about. Before I watch Charlie Brown Christmas I'm usually all "I gotta do this & I gotta do that", from the time I watch Charlie Brown Christmas until the actual day on December 25th my whole attitude changes to "I hope I get to..." & if I don't get to it, hey, there is always next year. I'm so glad they put this on every year. :)

Since I was a kid Charlie Brown and the gang singing Hark the Herald Angels Sing around that poor but beautiful tree has always gotten to me and still at the age of 31. Such a wonderful message from little Linus.

1. Silent Night
2. O holy night
3. the Hallejuah Chorus
