If life is not strange enough, I have a problem that I have never seen addressed. I have a mouse that frequents my refrigerator!! I had thought I suspected the creature, but thought certainly that couldn't be....could it? Apparently so since the 2 new packages of cheese that i bought a Costco over the weekend are nibbled on and the leftover dip that I had covered with plastic wrap had been eaten through. So, the question is: what do I do? How do I get rid of it? It gives me the creeps to think of setting a mousetrap in there...any ideas, please, oh please?

Get a new refrigerator!! J/K
Can you put a trap behind the regrigerator, also have you pulled it out or look under it see if you can see how it's getting in??

Maybe you can find out where the little guy/gal is getting in and stuff it with steel wool (the ones used to wash dishes). That might keep him/her out of the fridge and go somewhere else.

I'd thought about pulling it out, but will have to wait for DH so I don't tear up the floor. I'd LOVE to have a new one, but with the truck repair bill this am, a frig is WAY down the list:o

That would be my suggestion. Would you have to pull it out? I'd think just giving it the once over from the inside would be a better bet. Good luck!

OMG Ozsmom, that is unbelievable. When I read this I got up off my chair and headed to my refrigerator. Can't see any place a mouse could get in. Have you ever heard of a live trap. You could set that and you would know if you get him. My DH has one and they really work. Good Luck.

Put that darn rattlesnake in the fridge.. Maybe he'd kill mouse before the cold got to him..
On a more practical note, I agree with pulling out the fridge, or leaning it backwards so that you may be able to see where Mickey has made his nest..

This is a new one on me. I had no idea they could get inside a fridge. I'm counting on you to let us know how he managed to get in there when this little adventure is over.

If it were me....

I'd try my best to nab him, before I moved the fridge. That way, he can't run elsewhere & hide. Since you know where he visits & what he likes to eat, make him an enticing plate of goodies! Hopefully, he won't be able to resist them & he'll amble out for a snack. ;) Lay sticky glue trap papers (know what I'm talking about..right?) all around his goodie plate, so he cannot get to it without getting stuck. Be very quiet & wait.

After I caught Mr. Beady Eyes with the cheese breath, I'd move the fridge & see what else you have to address to keep his friends from stopping by. I hope it's just one you have in there right now...

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck!

I have used the sticky paper before, and it caught the mouse.....he wiggled for a time, I wouldn't pick it up, the maintaince man at work came to take him away.

My mom has had trouble with mice before and she purchased a device (aproximately 3x5 inches) that emits a high frequency pitch sound, almost undetectable to the human ear. Plugs it in..........not a mouse in her kitchen for a long time now.

Good luck,
Pat
