Does anyone scrapbook? I do, but just haven't had time to do any lately. I'm way behind.
What sort of themes for a book have you used? My first book started when we bought 50 acres of land, plus the building of our home, flowerbeds, etc. That was 6 years ago and it's nice to pull that book out and look at before and after now.
I want to start one on our boykin spaniel (pictures showing her when we got her at 7 weeks old until present..........her 1st birthday party, etc.).

I have an on-going scrapbook I'm doing on my 5 grandchildren. It's filled with pictures from birth, to birthdays, Christmases, school days and fun days. They love looking at it, and I look at it as a legacy to them! It's a treasure. :)

I've finished one book about our Shebly Cobra and the activities we do with that. I'm about half-way thru the second volume now.
I also gave DSD an "ABC" book last year. Since I didn't have a continuous chronological set of pictures for her, I figured an ABC book might be easier. So I went thru all of the pics I had of her and figured out something for each letter. A is for Animals, B is for Baby Girl, D is for drill team, etc. She seemed to really like it. I sure hope so.
And I've got my wedding one laid out but haven't started it. That one seems so "important" compared to the car book that I'm a bit intimidated. Kinda like the little one I'm putting together for parents anninversary next month. It's just a fun book of the two of them, but there's some pics of their wedding and stuff and I want it to be just perfect. KWIM?

I have been scrapbooking for a year now, ever since i joined my Red Hat Chapter. My group gets together every Tuesday to scrap and crop. I have 12 different albums going right now. I have one for my Red hat activities, my grandson, vacation, gardening, pets, collections, wedding, you name it and I have one going for it! LOL!
I have been scrapbooking for 10 years. I am doing an album for my dd.

Yes! I started my first one during my sophmore year of high school. My high schools ones are so ugly, but it is fun to look back at the photos and memories. :)
I finished one of our engagement, wedding, first two years, new house, etc. and started working on one of me growing up. I thought it would be fun for my kids to look through someday. But then I got PG and was just too tired to work on it anymore. I need to finish that one, and do something with my photos from the Bahamas and Disney. I plan on taking a class to do something special when Baby gets here.
We have two local stores that are good, and I prefer one over the other. Every Friday night they host crops from 7-12. If you have paid to be a VIP, you can crop for free. it is $5 per crop for non-VIP members. They provide snacks, drinks, and prizes!! Plus you get a discount on items while you are there. This is the only time I work on my albums anymore. I love it b/c everything I need is right there, and if I need something, I just get up and buy it. :) I am hoping to work up enough energy to start going again, but I am so worn out by Friday nights!

I have been scrapbooking for about one year. My first one was of our fortieth anniversary cruise to Alaska last summer. DD got me started by telling me she would scrapbook our trip, then she decided it would be better if I did it and just used her tools, etc. Well, you know the rest of that story! I got hooked and now have as much "stuff" as she does and am still adding tools!
I am working on one now that is a heritage album for my kids. I want to scrapbook pictures of our ancestors and the stories my mother and grandmother told me about them. It has been a challenge because there are no pictures of some of the people I want to tell them about, but it is also fun to remember all the things I was told and convey their stories to the next generations.

Yup, I've been scrappin' for about 5 years now. I'm very behind - now that my mother just dropped off 5 huge boxes of old family photos to me... I do Creative Memories and have filled 2 Power Sorts and am on my 3rd. They hold 2400 pictures. That gives you an idea of how much 'stuff' I have to deal with!
But I like to put together speedy albums - good thing. I have 3 to make for Christmas! LOL
