Just had to share this! We have 2 labs that are so spoiled it isn't even funny! They always get a "chewy bone" when I get home from work. Yesterday we were out of chewy bones-----oh, no!! Gracie (the younger of the 2 ...and the most stubborn! )sat and stared at the pantry for an hour, waiting on that dag gum chewy bone! I finally gave in, went to the store for chewy bones, when I got home from the store, Gracie was STILL staring at the pantry----waitin' on that treat! Can you believe I was forced by my spoiled dog to make a special trip to the store! Have any of y'all been there, done that?

I don't own a pet, but I can imagine I too would be running to the store.

We "pup-sit" a mini-dachshund and he has a look that says I am the most boring person in the world and he wishes I would do something to entertain him. :p I feel like he goes home after his visits and tells his people just how boring we really are. LOL

We keep our JRT's treats in a dog-shaped cookie jar that when you lift the head it sings one of 2 songs - "Who Let The Dogs Out" and "Hound Dog". If I buy new treats I obviously have to put them in the jar so when I open the head, it sings, here comes Stix and no matter what time of day - she gets a treat. She sits there like, "I heard the song, I heard the song, I heard the song"!!!!!!!!!!

When we take our dog Echo outside to throw the ball she WILL NOT come back into the house until you walk up the back steps, announce "who wants something nice", then you have to step inside the back hall, toss a treat into the back hall & then she will run up the steps and into the house.

If you happen to utter the words "something nice" in a sentence (talking on the phone etc.) she comes running out of nowhere.

You gotta love it, who is trained, us or them. :D

That is so funny. One of my "babies" will not come back inside unless I tell him to "come see what I've got". He knows that means he will get a prize. I have the same problem if anyone says "see what I've got". :D

Deek, we have a dauchshund. Isn't that look adorable? And boy, can it make you feel guilty. It's usually good for getting us up for a short walk or going out to mess with the gardening for a while! Or sometimes just a few throws of a favorite bear.;)

Liberty, Yep, I'd be on my way! I just made a huge haul from PetsMart yesterday. I try to stay ahead of the game!
