Hey y'all! I just started making beaded bracelets after watching a friend do it. I would like to make one for my 7 yr-old niece using the elastic "thread".

The problem is I don't know how you would tie off the ends? I don't want there to be a catch--just be able to slide it on and off. Do you just tie a knot and the beads slide over it?

Thanks for the help!

I'll help if I can. What kind of wire are you using. If you are using wire and do not want a clasp, you need to use memory wire. With memory wire you will just use you pliers and bend the end slightly one direction, then gradually bend and curve to make a small loop back the other direction. Let me see if I can find some instructions. It's hard to explain without showing you.

Try reading their instructions. ;)

Duh! I just realized that you said "ELASTIC" !

Do you know how to tie a square knot? That should do it.

Right over left. then left over right, over right again!

Sorry. Couldn't edit. :(
