Mine is forest green, but I'm tired of it and want something new, I think lighter.

Mine is a pale sage. It's pretty but I've been thinking that I'd like to change it. And that would mean changing all the bedding too and I've only had it for 2 years. It's low on the house "to do" list so I'll have to live with it for a while.

LOL! Mine is a pale sage too! I would also love to change the color, but the thing that stops me is that I still love the whimsy that my friend added. She's an artist and one day she painted a pretty/delicate vine around my light switch and also like it's growing up the side of my closet door. I guess I'll keep it for awhile longer!

Right now it's antique white, but that will be changing in the next couple of weeks. I'm in the process of painting the whole house right now. When I get to the bedroom it will be a pretty green color. I'm still trying to decide between Great Green, which I've done the offices in, or Baize Green which is one shade lighter.

Wedgewood blue walls, dark wood furniture; khaki and blue and chocolate comforter with coordinating chocolate/cream dot dust ruffle (not really a "ruffle", but inverted pleat bed skirt). I found the greatest lamps on half price at Steinmart, clear cut glass bases with khaki silk shades, very classic and pretty, dressier than I have ever had. I have never, ever had blue, and I love it, kind of restful.

Right now it is pale yellow, with white trim and yellow and navy accents in the drapes, comforter and chair. Getting a little tired of it and thinking about going with a kahki color on the walls and still using the navy accents.

We haven't painted it yet but it will be a deep red/burgandy. We have b&w toile fabric/b&w checks. That is on the "to do" list.

Right now my bedroom walls are plain panelling, but we will be doing plaster and painting within the next year. I don't have my color picked out yet, but my mom just made curtains for me with this material (http://www.joannfabrics.com/catalog.jhtml;$sessionid$BPJBRSQAADBYOP4SY5LRIHR50 LD3UEPO?CATID=59442&PRODID=102305&source=search). (Sorry I can't figure out how to post the picture in there!) My duvet cover is the goldish color in the material.

Mine is called Spiced Butternut but it is a glorious golden yellow with white trim and I love it! I've got dark mahogany furniture with red & gold accents on the bedding, golden curtains and brushed antigue lamps. I LOVE IT! It's great on a sunny day cause it just adds to the sunshine but on a rainy day is when it's best - it just glows! I'll try to post some pictures if I ever get the hang of it on the new boards

Mine is a medium green, can't remember the color name but I do love it. White trim and the fabrics are all washed out reds, greens and creams.

I just moved my bedroom into my Daughter's old room (more room). The color I painted is a creamy tan. I can't remember the name Cafe something?? Old room was and still is a sage green.

This pic of our bedroom ceiling is during construction, but it shows the color blue our bedroom is; our bathroom is the same color.

I'm terrible at remembering the name of paints. Ours is like a darker tan. When we moved into this house, I decided that I wanted to make our master bedroom not so "girly" since it was my husband's room also. The color really is pretty. I will have to find out the exact name. Home Depot had to mix three paints to get that color. I put Antique Red Crown Molding around the room. Our furniture is a darker Oak color but I have a round antique red table in-between two chairs in the seating area. The chairs have gold, red, blue and cream in them. They are striped. I posted pics. of them on the old board. I originally bought them to go in my family room but ended up putting them in our bedroom. That is where the color scheme changed and I'm very pleased with it. I have a cream eyelet comforter on the bed w/matching shams but also bought two shams that were in Charleston Blue from Country Curtains to go along w/that. I got some throw pillows that matched perfect w/the colors at the Plow & Hearth store and a bed skirt from there also in ticking that matched. It is all coming together nicely.

Our MBR is Laura Ashley Gold 3 - I love the way it makes the furniture, accessories, bedding and drapes "pop"......

Shabby - I love your fabric also - In fact, I have that exact same fabric in our DR......

My bedroom/bath is called Country Road. It is an olive green color - that is the best way I know how to describe it. I will try to get a picture of it tonight if I can remember.

My bedroom is a dark terra cotta - some of you helped me pick it out! We had it mixed at Lowe's and really love it. We have peach/cream bedding and knotty pine furniture. The master bath is pale peach - great for doing makeup 'cause it makes your skin look so pretty.

me too as I recalled a photo that could have been posted? I'm not sure if this was your bedroom or someone else's yet it was simply lovely.

It's a blue - with a bit of a periwinkle cast. It's a work in progress, as it's the last room we've done since moving in here - ie: no furniture yet. But I have my eye on either white painted cottage style or black from Restoration Hdwr. I'll prolly end up with a mish-mosh of antique pieces and new and go with the black.

I've been looking for a brown and cream toile - FINALLY someone makes it... but now I'm not sure if it's the look I want. (LOL)

Working on our bedroom this weekend. We wallpapered the bedroom several years ago and I started taking the paper off. 3 hours later accomplished the bottom half under the chair rail. Used warm water with vinegar and sprayed it on the paper. Worked well.... Next weekend I will do the top. I think I will paint this time. Wallpaper is not so popular as years back and thinking of a sage green! Must be the color of the year! Looking for a throw, etc. Everything is so dark and would prefer it to be lighter and more cheerful. I suppose I should buy the throw, etc. then go from there. Did see a white throw with bright pink dahlia's on it. I did pull the carpet up and planning on hubby re-sanding the hardwood floors. Anyone use a sander lately? Is it hard to do? This might be a long project that started to be small and now is growing. The fall is a good time to start re-decorating, right! Anyone else having fun re-decorating this year?
Also, happy to be back on the board. :)

Ours is called Plantation Beige, but it has a gold look to it. I need to redo it, b/c the intention was a pale beige. It looks pretty with the recent materials and colors, though.

Ours is "lemon delight". It's a soft pale yellow and trim is bright white. It looks crisp & clean to me.

Barbara - I finally got a chance to get a few shots of my bedroom color for you guys. The color is Pittsburgh Paints/Olympic Color "Spiced Butternut" and I love it!

Here are a couple of before shots when we first bought the house. The bedroom is fairly large but this color made it look tiny.

These are the two colors that we did here..and then pinstriped it in pewter. Turned out awesome. This was done while we tore out the bath to the left here and did major work on the kitchen.. boy was I in a creative mood that year.

Our bedroom has an accent wall, dark plumb, the bed sits on this wall. The ceiling and crown molding are bright white, the other walls are a buffed down white.
The bedspread is a Mattelase' coverlet in ecru, with matching ecru king shams, brown, plumb and sage green pillows.
The master bath is sage green with white ceilings, white crown molding, white cabinets, cream ceramic tile counter top, same color shower, cream and brown ceramic tile floor. The bathroom has the same colored plumb rugs and towels. I love this room, it makes me feel so comfy.
