I used to be an avid, avid, avid scrapbooker. I was also a Creative Memories Consultant. Now, I haven't scraped in over 2 years at all and really want to get started back. I have messed around with it a bit this week and can't seem to get into it. I feel like I need some inspiration. I have pretty much used CM exclusively and am wondering if I should try some other brands and the kits they have to get me over this hump. I have seen a lot of advertisements for Scrap in a Snap.
Has any one done Scrap in a Snap kits? Did you like them? Quality?
Any other companys?
Does anyone have anything they just love using and it helps them get rolling?
Share your tips on how you get focused and productive?

I have a huge ongoing scrapbook of the grandchildren starting with their birth, school days, Christmas, fun days etc. I only buy basic supplies. I use lots of pictures, make frames from cardstock, use stickers, and buy numbers and letters. I use my printer to print "blurbs" and cute notes. The scrapbook is really nice! My grandchildren leaf through it often and love looking at it. You don't have to spend a lot of money. I wanted mine to be original!

SS -- I've always been a "crafty" person, but always intimidated by scrapbooking! A friend invited me to a CM party 2 weeks ago and I've started my first album (I'm doing a "Christmas Through the Years" album). I really liked it and see how it can be very addicting. I've never heard of the Scrap in a Snap kits. It will be interesting to see what everyone says.
I'm also giving some thought to starting digital scrapbooking. I don't know a lot about it, but hear it is pretty simple.
Try picking up a scrapbook idea book. Use your Michael's 40% off coupon if you have one near you or buy a new CM book to jump start your creativity.
I know how you feel; once i clean off my craft table it takes me months to get back into the groove (and messy room).

I did my best scrapping when I was attending crop night at a local store. It was fun.
It was convenient to be able to purchase just the item you need at the store and have such a variety. I actually think I spent less that way, because when I pre-buy items, I get stuff I think I might use and never do.

I was just thinking recently that I need to start back doing this. I need to finish my wedding album.
Have you checked online scrapping websites for inspiration? That might be a great way to see what is new and to get some ideas. There was one that I saw a while ago that had Peas in the name - something like Peas in a Bucket. That seemed like a neat website.
