I posted a reply in the gardening section and thought I'd pass it on here too. I received an ad and order form for a gardening book from Jerry Baker. I'd never heard of him but he gives possible solutions for gardening problems using common household items and chemicals. Renee, we have Jerry Baker's The Impatient Gardener and his Lawn Book that we ordered through our PBS fundraiser one year.

We don't follow either book to the letter but have picked up quite a few tips from both that have made them worth the money. I flip through them all the time looking for new ideas or solutions to current problems we may be having.

I think you'll like them. Sometimes I think he's a few cards short of a full deck but I get a kick out of him.

I have his Supermarket Super Products and like it alot. He has some gardening tips in there as well.
