He was 8yrs old, so he had a long ,full life. But he will be missed and ALWAYS will be loved.

:( Think I'll go cry some more :(

I'm so sorry to hear this! I was just thinking yesterday about the fact that our Jack Russell Terrier turned 9 this weekend! She's still spunky so no worries there but the thought of losing a pet is terrifying. (((((grneyedangel72)))))

Sorry to hear of your loss.

Our Springer Spaniel is 16 1/2 and I'm trying to prepare myself for the inevitable but I know I won't be ready when it happens. She truly is a member of our family.

Aww, I'm so very sorry…it's so awful losing a little furbaby. I don't think the pain is really comprehended by those who don't have them…which makes it so much when they tell you things like, "It's just a cat/dog/ferret/, you can just get another…."
{[hugs}} so sorry.

Well he was DH. I only had 3 yrs with him. But they were 3 wonderful years. He was so funny. He will defintly (?) be missed.. :(

< "It's just a cat/dog/ferret/, you can just get another…." > No they are not "just a cat/dog/ferrret" They are as different and wonderfull as real kids(imho). Even if you do get another it's not the same, you can never replace them.

Thank you for ya'lls support. It's been helpful Thank you!

Ferrets are just wonderful pets. It is hard to be sad with a ferret around. We have had several over the years. Each one was special adding a different type of joy to our lives. Sweet Pea was the gentle lady, Daisy the happy little girl, Buddy the wise and comforting one, ****ens the happy go lucky, easy going pal , Winter the glamour gal, and Loki the one who got into everything and always wanted to party. We lost our last one this fall. I know what you are going through.

Bandit was a cutie. I bet he is now chasing Loki around.

Bandit sounds just like Loki. He got into everything.Always hiding things, keys, insoles even the shoes themselves. When we'd let hi outta his cage he'd bounce around and run like he'd never ran before. Chase the cats (that was rolling on floor funny) Always,ALWAYS getting into things, hiding, AND could sleep anywhere. He has really missed but I know he'll always be in heart.

Angel,I'm sorry about Bandit. I hope it wasn't painful for him. You cry all you want. I still grieve for pets I've lost over the years, I just hope they're allowed in heaven so we can see them again.
