I found a 1973 copy of a Sandlapper Magazine cookbook with some good recipes. As I looked through it, I realized I haven't seen a Sandlapper magazine in years. It is still in publication?

It is in publication. I get it every month. DH is a councilman and that's why we get it. Must be some sort of state publication.

Scarlett, I'm in Spartanburg and I haven't seen a Sandlapper since I was a child. The cookbook belonged to Mama and it is dated 1973. And you're right about the state pub. The recipes submitted are from all over SC with a few Floridians, Virginians, and Texans.

Hi Ladies,

Yes, Sandlapper is still published. DH gets it. It is published by a nonprofit organization. Here's the link: http://www.sandlapper.org/

I've also seen it for sale in small, locally owned bookstores......

Something made me think about Sandlapper not long ago too and I wondered if it is still being published. It used to be such a good magazine and I haven't seen one in years.
