I forget the authors name. This is a great book. Actually it was reviewed in SL last month (I think). Anyone else read it?

It is written by Pat Cunningham Devoto. I have a friend that is reading it now, and I will be able to get it when they are finsihed with it. Said it is pretty good.

Yes, that's her name. Thanks. I know she grew up in Alabama. Anyone know where? Her previous book, My Last Days as Roy Rodger, is also supposed to be very good but I haven't gotten to it yet. (I think that's the right name).

Oh I love her! My Last Days as Roy Rogers was very good and she had one other book out I believe, but sorry can't remember the title ....

BlakeC, The Summer We Got Saved has alot of the same characters as the Roy Rodgers book.

I spotted this book on the 30% off table at Barnes & Noble this week. I couldn't decide about it, but now I'm thinking I really want it.
