Here are a couple of pages of pics of the house we finished building back in February. We still have lots of work to do...landscaping, deciding on window treatments, etc., but we're really enjoying it.

Gorgeous home. I love the arch doorways, and trayed ceilings. I am jealous of the great laundryroom! Beautiful diningroom. Although I am more into neutral colors the red is stunning. Great job. The pic of the outside of your house is perfect. Such a great home!!! Hope you have many happy years there! By the way, almost forgot, looks like your dog loves it already!

OK! I'm jealous!!! I love your laundry room! I just have two folding doors covering my W&D and that's it - no sink, no cabinets, nothing!!! BEAUTIFUL - I love all the color and the archways. What color did you use on the walls of the guest bedroom? That's very pretty. Thanks for sharing!

Your home is beautiful! I'm thinking of painting my powder room the color of your dining room. Did ya'll paint it yourself? If so, how many coats did it take?

Thank you, all, for your sweet comments; we've been wanting to build
for several years, so we're really enjoying it a lot; decorating is the
best part. :)

Sophie, our furbaby, loves to sit on the back of the
couch and look out the dining room windows; she's too spoiled
for words, and not camera-shy at all. :D

gracie...the floors are Brazilian cherry; it doesn't even have to
be stained; after it's sanded, a coat of poly is applied, and
it brings out the wood's natural colors. I'll attach a pic of how it looked
before the poly was applied.

luvmyhunny....Thanks :) It's a BM color called Pallacio; it looks so different
at various times of the day; sometimes it looks really peachy, and
other times it looks taupy.

BetsyS..We didn't paint it; I wish I had the patience to paint. If I remember
correctly, the painter said it took 3 coats.

Thanks, ya'll. :) We've really enjoyed it. We finally got some landscaping done around the house and hubby bought me a beautiful statue to go in the space below the kitchen window. I'll have to take some pictures and post them when I get a chance.
