I bought pet grass and catnip for my cat. He went CRAZY when he ate the catnip. I'm calling it Cat Chronic because of the way he acted. He was biting and scratching me, he climbed inside the frig, and tried to climb the drapes. Do your cats act wild with it? He's not getting anymore.

We had a kitten for a few weeks, and we gave her a little catnip. She went wild! She started jumping and attaching herself onto the lampshade. She was literally bouncing off the walls! She would latch onto my leg every time I moved. I seriously think she overdosed on the stuff!! The really weird thing is that she never came down for it. We could only stand her for a couple of weeks after that. She was tearing up everything in the house and just went completely wild. It's the strangest thing I've ever seen!!!

I gave it to my cat years ago & it's like he was drunk or on dope! He walked into the doorframes, was tipsy walking, etc. Needless to say, I didn't give it to him again. I was really afraid he'd hurt himself. He did really like catnip filled cat toys (which he couldn't consume) too....seemed to have a far lesser reaction with those versus the catnip grass he ate. He would try to roll all over them though & did act a bit silly, but nothing like the real grass.

Mine love it and just roll and roll on their backs whenever I sprinkle a little on the floor. They do not do any of the above things because I think they just love rolling in it too much!

My cats don't get it. Mainly because it does nothing for them.Besides all the things ya'll have mention, my cats do that stuff all the time and they are "sober". *shrugs* Guess mine's just crazy. :D

My cats get all loving and dreamy and roll around a lot too. I guess they aren't "mean drunks".

hey guy's,
I left the sleepy time tea bags out on the counter, (forgot to put them
away) :D My cat's could smell them, got them, and got drunker than a
skunk with them. To bad the tea bags cost more than cat nip. So beware!
watch your herbal tea's. Of course I do have strange cat's , after
I clean and mop my floors, I go over them with a rinse water with alittle
clorox in it. When it's dry, I find them rubbing and rolling all over it, and act
like they'er drunk.

Sorry I'm just getting back to y'all on this. I think all cats are a little bonkers! I know what Christina was talking about with the tea bags. He chewed some and climbed into bed with us and started biting and scratching feet. DH put him on the porch and he cried so bad I let him back in. Then he climbed back into bed with us and curled up and slept it off. DH thinks he's loco!
