pumpkin painting party!

I am wanting to do a pumpkin painting party this fall....has anyone ever done one? If so do you have any tips? hints?? suggestions?? Thought it would be fun for all the neighborhood kids!! :)

How fun! We always do one at our Halloween Party. Be sure to have old shirts or t-shirts for the young ones to slip over their clothes...some parents don't understand parties and send their children dressed to the nines.......My son is 9 and thinks it is cool to cut a hole in the sealed part of a garbage bag and 1 on each side and wear it instead of a t-shirt! Markers are fun also if you don't want to deal with paint. Michael's carries all sorts of those foam sticky things you could also use.....pom pom balls....well, you get the idea! Have fun!
