I am hosting a baby shower in November for a friend who is having a girl. Originally I was thinking a fall theme shower with fall colors but we have chosen an invitation that is brown with a pink polka dots on the ribbon and the vellum paper. So now I have decided to do a pink/chocolate brown color scheme to represent fall and a baby girl. Does anyone have any ideas involving those colors, favors, decorations, food etc.? We are getting a two tiered cake with chocolate icing and pink polka dots. I was thinking some pink petit fours. A pink punch. I have a lot of SL stuff so I will be able to tie in brown/pink ribbons. I am just looking for other creative ideas. Thank you!

What about neopolitan ice cream? Also those pink cream cheese mints and something milk chocolate paired together.

Sorry - I got so caught up with the thought of chocolate covered strawberries I forgot the rest of my thought!!!
Would you really want petit fours with cake? I mean - aren't they the same thing?
You need something savory like a cheese ball or spread with crackers and maybe some assorted nuts as well. Just to break up all the sweet. Maybe even a veggie tray. I know that won't necessarily fall into the pink/brown category but you could make it work.

Eclairs! Maybe you coul get them at a local bakery and have them add some pink iced flowers or something on top of the milk chocolate icing. Brown, pink, ooey, gooey eclairs! Hungry? :p

Oh, wait! This is in the decorating section. Sorry for getting side tracked. How about some pink and white or brown and white toile? You may even be able to make a table runner with a nicer material for a reasonable amount. You could use all shades of cream, tan, and brown for accents since it is fall. Add some sort of pink rose table center to make it pop. (Costco has roses year round in an assortment of colors.) Gotta go,child screaming
