Where? LOL! Just had to do that, you know....thanks for wishing a safe journey for us, Honey. About 30 miles away from home I was getting sooo sleepy. Neither my sister nor I got a lot of sleep but I can tell you this....I'm heading for bed shortly! What did you find out from the doctor visit?

Ozsmom, it must be beautiful where you live. I've never been but one of my friends went last year and she said "the sky goes on forever...".

Marcia, if you get up to Ozsmom's ranch and help out, I hope y'all make pictures and let us see how it goes!

ILTS, thanks for keeping my secret!

mcdev, good to hear that Sweet Joe had a successful surgery. I think he is a very smart guy...get it over with and enjoy the holidays! Let me know where and when and I'll ride my broom over to your place and bring my rake. I love to rake leaves...

Calla...thank you for that poem...it sure hit the spot! I brought a book of poetry home that my mother must have read many times. She loved poetry and so do I.

I hope to be around a little more now. Jim and I were both tired and ready to get home....I hope we sleep till noon tomorrow!

Prayers for all....

ASAP
God Bless The USA!

Yes Ozsmom I see you waving...don't dislocate your shoulder...

MA most any part of the body would provide enough room...shoot you could probably tattoo the first 2 chapters of War and Peace on my fanny....
Glad that you and sweet Jim made it home safely..give him a night night kiss for me please...
As for mom ...the tumor board met, and they all agreed to disagree..none of them had seen a case like her's so they in their wisdom decided that we should do 1 of 2 things.... Start her on cancer fighting medication...or option 2 do nothing at all... We chose to do nothing at all... She had in fact with all of her eating...LOST another 4 pounds in 4 weeks...she now weighs 3 pounds more than DD who sports around the house in a size 0.... (wish they would put my mad icon back) so that is where we stand...Next stop...return visit to surgeon on Monday....The whole ordeal is rather taxing on all of our nervous systems...

Marcia your birthday gift to yourself sounds like an amazing trip...I love horses..just don't care to place my behind on their back...I tried that once and ended up in a pond..that horse taught me that they could put humans just exactly where they wanted them...and I respect his horse sense...

Calla if I didn't tell you this morning love the poem...

I'm calling this day done...That big black furry cat that is snoozing on my pillow looks very comfy so I think that I will join him...we may get in a few minutes of peaceful sleep before DH comes home and makes us both sleep on the edge of the bed...Ya know for one skinny old goat he sure does know how to hog a bed...

So good night, sweet dreams, and don't forget to say your prayers...I'll be saying mine for all of you as soon as I scoot that cat over...

WEhoney, oh my goodness. You and your whole family are in my prayers. Hope your momma is feeling well, seems like she is. Guess you just go on, figuring out each step as you go.

MA, glad you and Jim are home safe and sound.

Calla, I'll be looking for the Starbucks Thanksgivng Blend -- wonder if I can get it at the grocery store.

So, the question of the day is this: what do you say to a mom whose son, the brother of a classmate of one of my kids, was charged in a BIG drug thing today. (the whole community is shocked -- seems like noone saw this coming) I guess I just give her a squeeze when I see her...Gosh. Not too many things leave me speechless.

xoxoxto all. I'm headed in, hopefully Dh and Smoochie have left me some space in the bed!

Good morning! Its amazing what a good nights sleep in your own bed will do! I think just getting everything taken care of at our parents home helped in that sleep....

Ozsmom and Honey, I hope y'all had enough room in your beds to sleep!

Ozsmom, my thoughts and prayers are with that family. I wouldn't know what to say either. I think your idea of a big hug is the best. Sometimes words just can't convey how you feel but a hug is always a good thing (at least for me!).

Honey, I know y'all are going through a lot and with so many decisions running around in your head. Prayers for you and your family. Sometimes it seems that when it rains it pours and you have definitely had some heavy rains!

I was thinking about Thanksgiving last night and how much we have to be thankful for and then I started thinking about all we here at the Sun Room have had happen in our lives over the past year....and I thankful I am that we have had each other to lean on...in the good times and the bad. Yep, we sure have a lot to be thankful for, don't you think?

Jim is up! He's looking for coffee! I'll leave some for y'all....sorry I don't have anything else. We have to go grocery shopping today.

mcdev, we have leaves to rake....come on over!

Hey mcdev!! I just saw your post. Jim can get his own coffee....I'm going to sit here with you and enjoy those goodies you put behind the fern! Hope Sweet Joe is doing OK today.

Honey, I'm going to pass along those kisses now....the "head" is now drinking coffee but I'm sure he'll be glad to have kisses first thing this morning!

Good morning to MA, mcdev, and ozsmom. Looks like we're the only ones to venture out this morning. I'm taking a few of the goodies and heading out of here.

Y'all have a great day.

Good morning. I am starving. Glad I decided to drop by here first. Thanks for the breakfast McD. We are going to try a new Thai place for lunch, but I needed something to hold me over. I brought a slow cooker full of Cpt's hot chocolate (not spiked, just her recipe...lol!) Hope y'all enjoy it.

Prayers for those who need it. I'll try to get back by later.

The calves have been tasken to town and I need to turn on the music, LOUD to cover the bellering mommas. I never sleep well the night before we ship calves. I'm glad it's done, but we are at the mercy of the buyers.

With the fire in the stove yesterday I never did get the things done that I wanted to. So, out to the shop I'm headed to dig up a wreath I've got out there and get started. I'm ready to get started on something.

I'm done watching the news. Just can't bear anymore bad stuff. The drug bust yesterday has everyone gasping.

So, have a wonderful day. Oh, Joan mentioned on the dinner thread that there's a threat of snow where she lives. Just wanted you all to know that the high here today is predicted to be 70 degrees. In November -- the sky is so blue with some wispy clouds and yes, I'll have a fire in the stove later.

xoxoxo

Good mornin! Glad i came out here......those goodies behind the fern McDev left are callin my name! i'll be sitting out here for a while enjoying them!

Well my little cousin i told yall about got done with his bone marrow transplant lastnight and he's doing great. that boy has such a high spirit! his parents are doing good too. tired but better than i would be! id be a nervous wreck! i cant imagine having my child go through all what he's gone through!

Yesterday one of our neighbors got some bad news. a few years ago, she suffered from constant headaches. finally did a scan and she had some kind of tumor on the left side of her brain. she told me what it was called but ive done forgotten. anyway, they did surgery and removed it. she lost most hearing in her left ear. if/when she were to get pregnant and have a baby, all her hearing would be lost. She went to her doctor yesterday and found out that the tumor was back and another surgery would have to be done and her hearing could be lost completely afterwards. She knew it was coming. she's been taking sign language classes in college in preperation. but she didnt think this soon. she thought for when her and her husband would have a baby. im lost on details because DH was telling me all this after coming back from their house lastnight. he's been helping the husband lay baseboards. She's young....24. its so devistating knowing she wont be able to hear their baby cry, laugh, coo, talk when they have one.

Well ladies, im sending prayers and thoughts to everyone! im still lost in everyones posts! Yall have a great day!!
