I'm flying through here this morning....much to do and too little time!
ILTS, praying that DS is soon recovered completely and that the rest of the family escape the flu.
mcdev, getting worried about you and your family....Is today the day SJW has cataract surgery? Prayers for him and prayers for our sweet Olivia Rose.
Angel, how are you? I think you said you were having some health problems. Praying that you are OK....

I guessing there are lots of people away, preparing for Thanksgiving or celebrating early. Not many visiting here at the moment. Several friends from other boards are seeing the same thing happening.
I probably will not be around much for a bit, so I'll go ahead and wish all a Happy Thanksgiving. We do have lots to be very thankful for and of course I start with my family and friends. You girls here at SL seem like family and friends and moreQ
Hope everyone that is sick will soon be well.
Thanks for your love, friendship and support. I am so very thankful for each of you.

where is everyone!? im the first one here this mornin! sorry....no coffee. didnt even make me and DH any this mornin! Starting today, DH is off for the next 10 days! imma end up strangling him with christmas lights cause by tuesday, he'll be on my nerves! LOL Im taking advantage of him being home and going to the movies for a few shows and leave DS with him! woohoo! i never get to go to the movies (DH HATES the movies) so it'll be The Blind Side with Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw and of course New Moon! yes im a Twilight fan!  i wanted to wait a few weeks and let the madness die down before seeing it and fighting the crowds and sold out shows but its not ever week DH gets 10 days off! i gotta take 'free time' while i can! 
its a cold and cloudy day here today. i say cold....60. not as cold as what most of you have but its pretty cold to me! i looked at the weather and decided that Monday will be the day to hang up lights.....its the warmest day at 74! LOL

Good morning, KLD and anyone else who wonders out! Enjoy your movie time. You certainly can't pass up some alone time while you have someone to watch DS!
DS got to go back to the sitter today. It seems like we're just getting started with this week and it's already over!
DS#1 had a good birthday yesterday. Pretty low key. He wanted to go to the Chilli supper at his school. His party is Satruday. He told me that he wished today didn't even exist this morning because he wants it to be his party. I remember being that excited about birthdays. It's so much fun to watch them!
Well, I'll be busy for the next couple of days, so I'm going to wish everyone a great weekend. I hope to put some of the outside Christmas decorations up Sunday if they weather is as nice as "they" say it's going to be. Catch y'all later!

Good morning, even tho it's nearly lunchtime here. I began the grocery shopping today and am pretty proud of myself. Have one more store to hit, and perhaps World Market for the wine, but I spent under $100 at the grocery!! I remember so well the first time I was with my mom at the grocery store and she spent $100 -- I was newly married and I nearly died when the total rang up. Never in my life did I think I'd pay $100 for groceries and now it's a red letter day when I spend only that much.
Overcast here today and supposed to cool off into the 40's by the end of the weekend. Last year at this time we were below zero so this is nice. I too, hope to get some lights up (even tho we still have some left up from last year  ). Have to check to see if those work and replace if not.
KLD, I cannot wait to see The Blind Side. We'll be taking DS#2&3 when they are home next weekend. I promised #3 that we'd wait til he got home to see it. So, the plan is next Friday evening. It looks like a great movie and I do like Sandra Bullock.

Olivia Rose update
Good afternoon sun room best girlfiends !!!!
sorry it has taken me so long to get back with an OR update..after the type of infection was isolated,OR was put on an antibiotic that wold be the most effective for that particular infection..she was dismissed for the hospital yesterday,was most happy to be home and back with her big "Mini" dog and Mini was happy to see her.more later..thanks for the prayers and cares for our little one..sherry

Hey Honey....doesn't that make you MAD!!! It does me. It only happens when I do a witty,well-thought out, no mistakes kind of post. (OK, thats like the fish that got away). Hope your day was not to busy. I believe this was the day that you had about a hundred trips/stops to make. They tire me out. If you step behind the fern I'll send Jim out with something to drink...just make sure you return him!
sherry, I'm so glad you had time to give us an update on our sweet Olivia Rose. Thank God she is better and able to be at home. Give her a kiss for her SR aunts...and how is SJW?
