Default Old Dish Patterns

I am looking for a way to find a dish pattern from a dish fragment. The fragment is a pretty good size but is not big enough to have the manufacturer or pattern on the back. The piece was recently dug up from a very old house (with a history) here in Washington DC. I really need some direction.

If you contact Replacements Limited they can more than likely help you. I have never seen so many patterns in my life and they also have a research department that is extensive. www.replacements.com

wow .. the link looks great! I too was trying to figure out something like this on google weeks ago. But I'm unsure about the authenticity of the website. Have you ever used this website yourself or you are just referring it?

I have purchased from this store many, many times and always had a good experience. If they can't match it then it can't be matched They also sell on ebay. Give them a try--I highly recommend them.

luv2cook is right. Replacements is tops. I've shopped in the store and they notify me when any of my Christmas china is available.

I really like Replacements too. My Mom gave me her incomplete wedding china many years ago since she had bought another china pattern. I love my parent's wedding china so much that when I was getting married, I have a bridal registry at Replacements and I now have a complete 10 piece place setting, as well as serving platters and dishes. There are still many things I want to add to my set. I get emails from them once a month with updates to my pattern.

eBay may actually have better prices than Replacements. I found the gravy pitcher on eBay for less than the price on Replacements.

I've used replacements.com too. They are great. The only problem I have with them is that when I get on their site, I get so absorbed with looking at all the patterns I have a hard time tearing myself away.

I replaced a couple of Lenox Gold Wreath settings. I set my Christmas table with this pattern. You can see a picture of it on my blog at asouthernlife.com
