Living Room Accent Color
I am planning some new color for the living room dining room. The walls are a deep cream with white trim. I don't want to make any changes there because I love how it looks.
I am considering using a blue and white porceline vase for a blue inspiration, then adding a green (either a boxwood green or a sage green) as accent color.
My couch is sage green and I want to change the pillows and introduce the blue...something like a peacock blue or navy. My side tables are decorator round accent tables and I'm thinking the table skirts could be the peacock blue or navy as well, with a sage green topper under the glass. Then I want to introduce a deep cream into the mix....perhaps along with the blue pillows.
Since you can see the dining room from the living room, I'm thinking I'd like to cover the seats with a mixed size stripe in the green color, blue color and cream color.
What do you think? Is it all just too much?
Oh! the carpet is a deep cream in both rooms, I'd say 2x's deeper than the walls.

I love all of those colors! They are cool and calm. Check out GDC for some fabric inspiration. They have tons of bolts and maybe a swatch or two will help you decide on the accent colors.

I agree Minda, somehow the blue and green seem so natural. Scarlett said cool and calm...I like that.
Scarlett, I have GDC on my list. They have some great pieces there. I had been in a few times before I'd gotten off on this tangent so when I go now it will be with more purpose.
I really think those will be the colors, now the exact shades will be a bit more to think about. I'd like to upload the swatches I find of the colors to show y'all if I could figure out how that's done. I just spent the last hour while I was on lunch looking at Ballard online but didn't really see anything that struck me.
