Need ideas/opinions
Im at a loss. here is our front entryway. I need ideas on what that wall needs!! before Ike, we had a vinyl wall art quote and it 'made' the space. had to take it down to repaint and now i cant find the one we had anywhere. something needs to go there but dont know what.
Here is a picture of the wall in our bedroom infront of our bed. it too needs something but i dont know what!! im usually a pro at things like this but when i go shopping and look at things, i cant find anything that makes me go "aha!" kwim!? so opinions/ideas would be great!! TIA!!

How about a demilune table with a buffet lamp in front of what looks like a plug on the wall, with a mirror hung on the wall above it?

already tried that....the space isnt big enough for the table. the mirror wouldnt work because between 2 and 5, the sun is BEAMING right through the door onto that wall. having a mirror there would jsut be blinding! LOL
also, im trying to go for something non invasive.....DH is a FREAK when it comes to putting stuff on the walls......less to no holes, the better!

Was it the width or the depth of the table that took up too much space?

a little bit of both actually. the space is only 3ft wide. after measuring the door opening and placing the table with the lamps, it wouldnt be center where it would look good. i tried and was disappointed cause i loved the table!

I follow you. I can see where it might look a little awkward, since it can't be placed in the center. And 3' of width, in a traffic pattern, is the minimum & it shouldn't be reduced.
I had asked because I was thinking about Ballard Designs. They make a few pieces that have a slim profile & they don't stick out much (around 12-14" I think. That would knock your hall width down to 2'...not good). I think one of them had a shape that knocked the corner off, to keep from hitting it with your hip. Now that I understand the 3' width in the hall, I agree with you on nixing the table idea.
hmmm...let me think about.

Okay, I'm brainstorming & will throw out some things that would be flat against the wall:
~A mirror is out because of the afternoon light.
~You liked the vinyl decal, but can't find it again. Have you tried looking on ebay? There are lots on there & several sellers will do custom orders.
~How about making that wall into a family photo gallery?
Black and whites photos would be pretty. Use various sizes to make it interesting & unify the look by using all black frames & white mats. I think a photo gallery would look nice, all by itself.
You could use decorator typesetter letters to spell out a last name, or the word "family", or the word "welcome", etc. Place the feature word above the arrangement of photos, or place it in the center & arrange the photos around it.
A photo wall might mean too many holes in the wall for DH. You could accomplish the same thing using picture ledges or something like this....
