I was watching Oprah one day, and she had a task for Nate. He couldn't purchase furniture and make a room, instead he had to use the furniture the neighbors were willing to swap with each other. Have you ever swapped furniture with your neighbors or friends to redecorate your home instead of purchasing new furniture?
I saw that episode, too. I haven't swapped furniture with anyone except a good friend, who swapped accent tables with me a few years ago. I'd sure be interested in doing that, though my neighbors have extremely contemporary, Pottery Barn type furniture, and I have more traditional to transitional stuff. Too bad you live so far away or maybe we could do it!
