Default Need help choosing accent color

I've never used the colors in our home that are in our new RV, so I'm really stumped.

The living, dining, & kitchen area of our new RV has taupe, tan, & cream colors with a little bit of dark brown. What color should I use as an accent color for decorative accessories?

The bedroom area has light tan, black, & soft gold colors. Again, what color should I use as an accent color for decorative accessories?

Thanks so much for your responses.

Judy, I've just seen this..........not that i'm any help. I just sorta thrown things together and hope for the best. Try out different colors and see what you like best. Brianna knows this stuff and I'll bet there are lots of others here that can help. Maybe they haven't seen your question either.

One suggestion just off the top of my head......what about something in PEACH?? (I just had to do that!) Have you made many peach cobblers this year?

The living kitchen & dining area would look great with a pop of red or even an orange. The bedroom are might work with a rust or mustard color.

Good luck!

Thanks MA & ncgigi for your suggestions. I was thinking about red in the living/dining/kitchen area but had not thought about orange. Never would have thought about mustard or rust for the bedroom! I'll give those a try and see how it looks.

PEACH might just work! LOL!! I've only made two peach cobblers this year...I will have to rectify that soon! I made a blackberry cobbler a couple of weeks ago and it was so good. I thought of you as I was eating every bite!

Yeah, #1, and I'm thinking about you right now!

Its good to see you here. Have you got everything settled for the move? Wishing you both the very best in this new adventure.....and I seriously think peach might work in your color scheme!

I think I would choose a light blue (not turquoise) as an accent color in both rooms. I think it would add interest and keep the continuity throughout the RV. Blue is always calming and a light color may open up the space.

I'm not the one that info was intended for but thanks! Those towels are gorgeous and I have just the bath that needs them! And the bedroom might need some upgrades.........let me see what else Pottery Barn has to offer! I'm not a clothes shopper but when it comes to linens............hang on to the wallet!!

I saw some very similar towels at Tuesday Morning recently for a fraction of the PB price!
