10 yr old boy valentine box

Hello all you wonderful, smart people!
I need ideas to help my 10 year old son decorate his valentine box for school? No hearts or "love things" he says. Any ideas?

I have a 10 year old and that is our project this weekend We went to Dollar General and found a white mailbox....you can get any color at any store..just get a cheap mail box! My son is an LSU fan....we live in Alabama...go figure! He is going to paint a big purple tiger's paw on it. In yellow and purple, he is going to make smaller paw prints all over it! When he makes a purple paw, he is going to take the yellow and make the claws. When he makes a yellow paw, he is going to take the purple and make the claws. So, if your son is a big football or baseball fan, do a mailbox like that. Last year, we bought a cheap net bag (like the ones you use to carry your sports gear in). My son is a scuba ranger, so he decorated the bag with a snorkel and mask we bought at the Dollar Tree. I hope these ideas will help you. Good Luck. CptMom, what a cool idea.............I never thought about how easy these types of things are for girls but I can see where boys would not love the idea AT ALL!!!!! I have girls so ours were shoe boxes covered in red wrapping paper and decorated with puffy hearts and flowers stickers.

It would be really cool if for the mailbox flag y'all had one of those window flags for cars for his team. Don't know if y'all have that or not.

let him splatter paint it w/ diff reds or let him take pics w/ his friends then shellac/decoupage them on!
