    Default What's for Dinner, Wednesday, October 31 - HALLOWEEN~

Tonight I'll probably keep a pot of soup on LOW while the trick-or-treat children are in the area. Something that I can take a few spoonfuls between goblin visits (we don't get many children).

    What's happening at your house?

    I'm thinking chili!
Roses will bloom again. Just wait and see. Don't mourn what might have been. Only God knows how and when, but Roses will bloom again.

Tonight is going to be a gourmet dinner of leftover fried chicken, leftover mashed potatoes, roasted carrots and canned biscuits.

I'm not really doing anything for Halloween.

This is the first time in years that I've not even carved a pumpkin.

First time in a couple years to treat the kids. Last time we only had a handful, so I stopped buying candy. Maybe this year will be different. Dug out some of the old decorations to make the courtyard entrance a bit festive.

Making pork tenderloin medallions with an apple cider cream sauce, chipotle baked sweet potato fries, and fresh green beans from the garden with lemon zest.

We went to a Halloween Party. Lots of children. My sweet baby was a butterfly. They served chili and hotdogs. I ate lots of candy
