Default Y'all cooking the day after Christmas?

No cooking here. It'll be a choice ham or turkey sammies. If anyone wants veggies, they pop them in the microwave.

    What's on at your house?

I am one of the few who had to come to work today. It is very quiet here.

Therefore, no cooking for me either. Leftovers from Christmas Eve. Asparagus stuffed sockeye salmon with a tarragon sauce. (you know I did not make that), saffron rice and sautéed asparagus with balsamic and shaved parm cheese.

My husband gets all the credit for this dinner.
CHOCOLATE is the answer to everything!

I suppose one of the upsides of not having a job is, I didn't have to work today.

Nasty weather here, cold, very windy and spitting snow.

Dinner will be fried steak and fried potatoes with some leftover homemade bread from the freezer.

Had a duck breast filet with a black current balsamic reduction sauce.

It was good, but I think I'll stick to chicken. Duck tastes great, but it's so fatty.
