    Default Let's cook! Thursday, 1/31,2013.

Last chance to cook supper in this month. What'll it be, folks?

The wind is gusty, the temps have dropped some and I'm thinking comfort food. So, bringing out the crockpot, throwing in a hunk of beef..yep, its that infamous potroast! LOL!!! Veggies in with the roast and fresh asparagus on the side. Hot rolls and a Chocolate Cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Y'all come on down!

Hubby, teaches tonight so something easy. It's cold so Baby Girl and I will do homework, eat, get ready for work and school tomorrow and be in bed early.

Nora, I'm glad to see that you are safe from those terrific storms.

I'm not sure what I'll be having for dinner. Depends on which take out place I stop at since DH is away on business.

Cheese burgers with sauteed onions on toast.

I may go pick up some chips to go with them.

We are having pork chope, but I haven't decided the method yet.

Nora, asparagus was 4.99 lb this morning so I went right on past. We will have green beans, probably, they were 1.69 lb.

    Default For us today

it will be French Dip Sandwiches, homemade french-fries, coleslaw and some kind of pie to be determined. I already have the pastry made - just have to roll it out. I am leaning toward pecan pie since it is quick and easy.
If it was easy, anyone could do it.
